Duties:

• Understanding user requirements to gain clear understanding of customer use cases

• Collaborating with the teams that build our on-locomotive products in order to define the interfaces necessary to create exciting new features

• Working with front-end developers to define services and APIs that bring the system to life for our extensive customer base

• Supporting and improving our quality processes including developing and executing automated unit tests and participating in design sessions and code reviews

• Working with testers and the DevOps team to define and develop innovative end-to-end automated testing and deployment solutions

• Working with data scientists to create new ideas that generate insights from a vast data resource

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field

• 3+ years of object-oriented development experience in C# or similar languages

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server or other relational database management systems

• Experience working in a collaborative Agile development environment

• Hands-on experience with IoT cloud or on-premises platforms

• Development experience building large systems on Windows and Linux platforms

• Experience with AWS, Azure, Google, or other cloud platform providers

• Experience with microservice-based IoT architecture components including RESTful APIs, gateways, messaging systems and containerization technologies such as Docker
